Super Fog
Super Fog adds height fog to URP scenes. Up to 8 visible Point and Spot lights glow in it as fake volumetric lights, not full raymarched volumetrics.
It needs URP 17 with Render Graph (no Built-in or HDRP) and was tested on Unity 6.3 (6000.3.16 and 6000.3.23).
Requirements & compatibility
URP 17 with Render Graph. Tested on Unity 6.3 (6000.3.16 and 6000.3.23). Built-in and HDRP are not supported.
Super Fog is analytical height fog for URP. It thins out with height and picks up a color tint near the horizon. FBM noise adds fog banks that scroll, and the fog brightens toward your main Directional Light.
It also handles lamps: up to 8 visible Point and Spot lights, taken from URP's culling results and drawn as fake volumetric lights. For interiors, Super Fog Exclusion cuts the fog out of up to 8 exclusion volumes per frame.
Fog you can keep out of the house.

The problem
Fog that covers the whole scene also fills the houses and caves the player walks into.
The solution
Super Fog Exclusion removes the fog inside a box, a sphere, a collider or a mesh renderer's bounds. Fit one to the house and the inside stays clear.

Fog looks you can blend at runtime
Save fog looks as Preset assets (5 samples come with the package) and let the Super Fog Controller apply or blend them at runtime. Fog settings are Volume parameters you can change from C#. A buyer wrote: "Clear code is easy to tweak".
Installation
Check your project
You need a URP 17 project with Render Graph.
Run the Setup wizard
It turns on Depth Texture and adds the Super Fog renderer feature to every URP Pipeline Asset and Renderer.
Tune the fog
Sky Fog and Aerial Perspective start switched off; turn them on for fog over the skybox and haze in the distance.

Super Fog: questions & answers
Is Super Fog a raymarched volumetric fog effect?
Super Fog uses analytical height fog. Up to 8 visible Point and Spot lights can glow in it as fake volumetric lights; it does not use full raymarched volumetrics.
Can I remove the fog from interiors?
Yes. Super Fog Exclusion removes fog inside a box, sphere, collider or mesh renderer bounds, with up to 8 exclusion volumes per frame.
What does Super Fog need to run?
It requires URP 17 with Render Graph and was tested on Unity 6.3 (6000.3.16 and 6000.3.23). The Setup wizard enables Depth Texture and adds the renderer feature. Built-in and HDRP are not supported.
